Most of us abuse our bodies and as a result of that we soon run into health problems both physical and mental.

I our very rushed and competitive world stress have become a status symbol, work alcoholism a disease that destroys friend and foe alike.

If you consider that the top 10 causes of death in the 1st world are all related to 1st world diseases like heart disease, diabetes, etc. we are dropping like flies and we are eating like pigs.

How can we call our biggest killer diseases 1st world diseases, why with all the medical advancement can we not cure them?

The truth is in an old world 1st world diseases are new diseases and while medical science has done wonders in healing and eradicating old killers like the plague and cholera, there are no cures for modern diseases only drug to possibly relieve the symptoms.

These 1st world diseases are self inflicted!

Pretty strong statement isn’t it?

The truth is most of our dreaded diseases today are lifestyle diseases. We get obese because we cannot stop eating “junk food” this starts a vicious cycles of cravings and we carry on eating because our food is no longer nourishing us and satisfying our nutrient needs sufficiently which keeps on adding to that insatiable appetite.

The result is we get physically and emotionally depleted.

The problem with this cycle is that the less your body and mind copes with modern life the bigger the pressure and stress on you becomes to perform.

You get bouts of illness just so that your body can have some down time to relax and heal but the reality is the more pressure you have in your life the more likely you are to ignore these warning signs.

As time goes by your body and mind is so beaten that all they can do is give in to chronic disease, which practically creates hell on earth for you and your loved ones.

Now we run from doctor to doctor to get help and we try huge amounts of drug trying to alleviate the symptoms and in throwing our hope behind the drugs we create and even worse scenario because the stronger the drugs get the more sever the side effects become, some even life threatening,

The result of all this negativity happening in our health takes it’s toll on our mental and spiritual state of mind, we become negative, ask your doctor what you chance are if you stay negative?

This negativity progresses into depression and anxiety which adds to your overall stress, now it is virtually impossible for you to think straight but not to worry you’ll drink it away and watch the tube while you slouch on the couch, the slightest bit of exercise a very distant memory from your youth.

The result is you are sick and tired, your body is run down and life keeps on heaping up its demands on you.

What do you do?

Most people give up; they just buckle in the face of the onslaught, live a miserable life and die.

Are you one of those people or are you part of the other group?

Think about it!

What are you going to do about it?
